Autza

Walk Summary
Autza from walk start point at Col D'Elhorrieta.
International boundary stone bottom right
Starting from Col D,'Elhorrieta approached from French side, the furthest point you can reach by car, I made for planned start point by foot at 43.16385N, 01.41868W to ascend up the south ridge. Turned out to be a bushwhack through bracken for first 300m of ascent followed by further 100m wading across boulder field before eventually giving way to grassy boulder strewn slopes for final 250m or so of ascent.
Wild camp after day up Autza on Col d'Elhorrieta
Descended a different route to SE conveniently marked by red dots on rocks which eventually were replaced by red/white marks point to path through wood on left back to Col d'Elhelorietta.
Recommend to ascend via my descent route following red/white markers which I foolishly ignored at beginning of walk.
600m of ascent in 1.2km.
Returning to Col d'Elhorrieta decided to stay the night, one of the few nights of entire trip where I wild camped.
